Concept - Janghwa

Inspired by the Korean folktale/ghost story of Janghwa & Hongryeon (장화홍련). Janghwa was abused by her stepmother who then orchestrated a fake abortion to make the girl appear unchaste, and then had her son push Janghwa into a lake, drowning her. After Hongryeon commits suicide in the same lake, the two sisters ghosts haunt their village until the truth of Janghwa's death is brought to light.
